The Dark Knight Arrested!!

Maybe they chose the wrong guy to protect Gotham.

The main actor Christian Bale who played Batman in the new movie The Dark Knight arrested, for beating his 61-year-old mother, Jenny and 40-year-old sister, Sharon.

The actor who should be ecstatic after his new film smashed box office records this week, is currently in custody after his mother and sister filed police reports Monday, alleging Bale attacked them at London’s Dorchester hotel Sunday night.

This all happened within a week after the premiere of his new film in America. Bale who was in London to promote The Dark Knight was permitted by police to attend the red carpet premiere on Monday evening, and to take part in press conferences to promote the film earlier that day. He turned himself in on Tuesday.

A Scotland Yard spokesman says: "A 34-year-old man attended a London Police Station on Tuesday by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He currently remains in custody."

At the London premiere of The Dark Knight on Monday, Bale appearing untroubled by the allegations, instead chose to focus on the film. On the red carpet, he told Us Weekly: "Try putting on a bat suit and not laughing at yourself, it's very tricky. The only way you can manage that is by creating this demonic, angry creature. You cease to become a man, you become a creature."

There were reports in the media that Harley Davidson, 2009 motorcycle models will be at large and presented to the public today. However, currently their site http://www.harley-davidson.com has not leaked much yet.

Our calls to Harley Davidson’s headquarters in USA for more information on the 2009 model have not yet returned. Our local distribution partners in Hickory, North Carolina however, have told us that they’re currently in a corporate meeting and more details will soon follow.

Therefore, further information about the Harley Davidson, 2009-model SHOULD be on www.harley-davidson.com sometimes later in the afternoon.

Details about the Harley Davidson 2009 Motorcycles came from the company's 2008 second quarter earnings report which was revealed last week.

A month from today, we kick off our 105th Anniversary Celebration with the launch of the first of 105 motorcycle rides to Milwaukee from around the U.S. These are just some of the ways we are positioning the Company for the future, strengthening bonds with current customers and reaching out to new customers.” Ziemer said.

The company hopes that between 74,000 and 78,000 Harley-Davidson 2009 model motorcycles will be shipped in the third quarter of 2008. For the full year of 2008, Harley-Davidson still plans to ship between 303,500 and 307,500 units. The Company continues to expect full-year EPS of $3.00 to $3.18, a decrease of 15 to 20 percent compared to 2007.

Harley-Davidson has earned $1.19 billion of revenue during the second quarter, a decrease of $67.0 million or 5.3% over the same period last year. Shipments of Harley-Davidson motorcycles totalled only 80,326 units, a decrease of 14,791 units or 15.6% compared to last year's second quarter.
